Join the brilliant Rosie Brandreth (GBBO contestant from series 10) live to teach you the skills you need to bake these delicious cronuts.
This class takes place on Saturday 27st January at the following times:
9am PT / 11am CT / 12pm ET / 5pm UK GMT
Please allow up to 2 hours for this class.
In this class Rosie will guide you through her recipe for her amazing cronuts; think 'croissants meets doughnuts', served with sweet and spicy cinnamon sugar and a silky salted caramel creme pat.
Bake With A Legend Online Classes are an interactive experience, where we limit group sizes to around 20 to ensure an intimate online setting. Not only do you have your celebrity baker teaching you, but you also have one of our brilliant Bake With A Legend hosts who will ensure the smooth running of your experience ensuring everyone is enjoying themselves.
If you need any help at any point during the class, you’ll be encouraged to raise your hand and your baker will be virtually joining you in your own kitchen in no time to assist you!
You’ll bake along in tandem with Rosie, learning many tips and tricks a long the way as you perfect all the skills required to make Rosie's delicious cronuts. Rosie will also be on hand to answer your questions, be those about baking or her experiences of being involved on such an iconic television show.
Tickets are priced at £35 for individuals and £50 for groups of two or more that will join from the same screen. Please note we can accept requests to move classes with two or more weeks notice prior to the class – any requests to do so, will incur a £5 administrative charge.
Once booked in, all guests will be emailed a full recipe and the zoom link required to join us for the class. Just in case you don’t spot it please check junk mail!

Apple Corer / Knife to cute small holes
Additional Whisk / Spoon
Paper / Tea Towel
Piping Nozzle***
2x Round Cutters, approx. 10cm (4”) and 5cm (2”)
*A clean bin bag will do
**Unless using a deep fat fryer
***Filling nozzles or plain will be fine, they need a sharp edge to go through the cronuts side
Ingredients:
For the Croissant Dough:
8g (2 ½ tsp) Instant Yeast
50g (1/4 Cup) Caster / Superfine Sugar
220g (1 2/3 Cups) Strong White Bread Flour
4g (1tsp) Salt
125ml (1/2 Cup) Cool Water
125g (1/2 Cup + 1 tbsp) Unsalted Butter - Pre-sliced as thinly as possible, around 2mm (1/3in) and chilled
1-2Litres Vegetable Oil (to give at least 2-inch depth to your saucepan (34-68 fluid Oz.)
For the Cinnamon Sugar:
100g (1/2 Cup) Caster / Superfine Sugar
1tsp Ground Cinnamon
For the Salted Caramel Crème Patisserie:
170ml (3/4 Cup) Semi-Skimmed Milk
2 Egg Yolks
25g (2tbsp) Caster / Superfine Sugar
1tsp Cornflour / Cornstarch
1tsp Plain / All-Purpose Flour
For the Salted Caramel:
100g (1/2 Cup) Caster / Superfine Sugar
¼ tsp Lemon Juice
2tbsp Water
¼ tsp Salt
